Beatrice Chapter 1924-present

Beatrice Chapter was chartered on May 24, 1924.  The members of Beatrice have welcomed the members of each of the consolidated Chapters and are looking forward to many years of continued service to the Order of the Eastern Star.

Nova Chapter  1923-2001

Nova Chapter was constituted on August 11, 1923, named “Nova” meaning “New”.  For 78 years many wonderful members served Nova Chapter in different capacities.

However, in the fall of 2001, due to declining membership, Nova members voted to consolidate with another Chapter.  On December 4, 2001, Nova Chapter consolidated with Beatrice Chapter #450 in Shawnee, Kansas.  Boyce W. Dougherty, Past Grand Patron, made the proclamation of consolidation.

Abdiel Chapter 1904-2009

Abdiel Chapter was constituted on May 4, 1904.  For 105 years many wonderful members served Abdiel Chapter in different capacities.  However, in the spring of 2009, due to declining membership, Abdiel members voted to consolidate with another Chapter.  On September 1, 2009, Abdiel Chapter consolidated with Beatrice Chapter #450, in Shawnee, Kansas.  Nancy J. Zook, Past Grand Matron, made the proclamation of consolidation.
